Join us for our weekly half day tour through the heart of Jerusalem!
On our tour we will explore the city’s most significant places for three different religions in the city, and see how these religions appear in this space.
Over the thousands of years of its existence, Jerusalem has been holy and sanctified location for Jews. Christians and Muslins alike. Thus, with the characteristic Jerusalem crowdedness, mosques, churches, and synagogues all coexist side by side. They all raise their voices in prayer heavenward, in praise of the lords and the city’s holiness. All of this is intermingled within the vibrant daily life of Jerusalem’s streets and alleyways.
On our tour we will get to know the traditions and beliefs of the city’s three main religions, adressing a few fascinating questions, such as-
Why do people put letters in the Western Wall?
Who is painting graffiti on the walls of Christianity’s holiest church?
What name did the Muslims give to the Western Wall?
Where is King David really buried?
Among the many sites that we will visit, we will reach King David’s Tomb, The Zion Gate, The Hurva Synagogue, rooftop views, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, and a scenic view of the Temple Mount.
Looking forward to meeting you on this wonderful journey through one of the most fascinating places in the world.
